How I Work
I offer both short and long-term counselling. Appointments are approximately
50 minutes long, and are usually on the same day each week.
My practice is based around the relationship we build together, but experience has
taught me that different people have different needs, so in addition, I may use skills
from other theoretical models. Some issues that are often brought to counselling
sessions are relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, stress, anxiety, depression,
anger, abuse, and addictions, to name but a few. We work together on whatever you
wish to bring to the session, and work at a pace that is comfortable for you.
I am here to listen and help you
At our first meeting, we will discuss what you are hoping to achieve from our work together, and any
questions or worries you may have.
My practice is fully insured and I work within the ethical framework of the BACP.
